Duration: 8 weeks (28 hrs)
Date: Every Saturday starting September 23rd to November 11th, 2017 ; All day class held Friday Nov. 3rd, 2017
Time: 9am to 12pm (class 1 and 8 are 3hrs, class 2 to 7 are 2.5 hrs; there is an all day class from 9:00am to 4pm before class 7)

About this Workshop:
Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) was developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn, PhD. MBSR is considered in the USA the gold standard for learning mindfulness and is being taught around the world. It has been scientifically shown to be an effective compliment to manage a wide variety of medical and psychological conditions including anxiety, chronic pain, hyper tension, stress, sleep disorders. -To become aware of inner resources for coping, growing, and inner healing.
-To practice mindfulness meditation and integrate it into your daily life.

What to expect:
-This workshop combines meditation, dialogue, reflective inquiry, mindful movement.
-Group dialogue and mindful communication exercises to enhance awareness in everyday life.
-Daily home practice.
-Home practice materials including guided mindfulness meditations recordings.
-Participating in this workshop requires an ongoing commitment to yourself.
-Attending all classes is a requirement for you to benefit.
About the Teacher:
Katerine LeMay, PhD, C.Psych.(CAN) has been practicing mindfulness meditation since the early 1990’s. She maintains regular meditation practice by sitting daily and attending silent retreats. She completed the foundational training required to teach Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) through the Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care and Society (USA) founded by Jon Kabat Zinn, PhD.
