At MapleTree we manage our own agenda, this means that you will contact your therapist directly to schedule your appointment.

Please enquire with your therapist about fees and their sliding fee scale policy.

Sessions for individual therapy are typically 50 minutes. Payment is made at the end of the session. Cash or credit cards are both accepted, we do not accept cheques.

The MapleTree Center operates on a pay-and-claim basis, consequently all claims will have to be submitted by you to your insurance provider. To assist us, please bring along your claim form and present it to your therapist upon arrival.

Contact your insurance provider about coverage, some providers may require a referral letter from a family physician or a psychiatrist. Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Please check your coverage carefully by asking your insurance provider the following questions:

Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
What is my deductible and has it been met?
How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
Is a referral required from a physician or a psychiatrist?

Cancellation Policy:
Speak to your therapist about their cancellation policy.
